AWS Lambda (Serverless Architecture)

Built on AWS Lambda, obJuan leverages a fully serverless design that automatically scales to handle workloads ranging from a handful of requests to thousands without the need for manual infrastructure management. This architecture reduces costs by charging only for compute time used, eliminating idle-server expenses common in traditional environments. Beyond cost-efficiency, Lambda ensures high availability and fault tolerance by distributing workloads across multiple availability zones, while also simplifying development and deployment so teams can roll out updates and iterations faster. AWS Lambda, when paired with API Gateway WebSockets, enables low-latency, event-driven communication that delivers the best performance for serverless applications.


AWS Bedrock + Claude Model + WebSockets

obJuan integrates with AWS Bedrock to access the Claude model, which provides advanced natural language understanding, contextual reasoning, and human-like conversational capabilities.   To optimize performance and minimize hallucinations, queries are transmitted via WebSockets for real-time speed and efficiency, while responses are structured in JSON for Claude’s input. This approach leverages inherent data safeguards, ensuring outputs remain safe, ethical, and reliable.


AWS Redshift Integration

For analytics and secure data access, obJuan connects directly to AWS Redshift, a fully managed, high-performance data warehouse. Redshift’s columnar storage and massively parallel processing (MPP) allow obJuan to execute complex queries against large datasets quickly, enabling near real-time insights into users, projects, and budgets. Built-in encryption (at rest and in transit), role-based access control, and IAM integration safeguard sensitive information.

Prompt Engineering Admin

To train and evolve obPM, a custom admin experience allows Subject Matter Experts to craft and refine prompts and responses in real time against live data, without requiring code changes.

 

Advanced Data Reasoning and Analysis

obJuan leverages project plan, tasking, and user allocation data to generate concise executive project summaries. These summaries allow stakeholders to quickly grasp project status without digging into raw data. obJuan also provides detailed budget tracking, monitoring expenditures against allocated funds, identifying overruns, and forecasting both resources and financial needs required for successful completion. Beyond financials, obJuan analyzes user-level performance metrics such as task completion rates and time efficiency, offering insights to optimize staffing and improve team productivity. In addition, obJuan is capable of answering complex project-related questions by drawing on data-driven insights to support smarter decision-making around resource allocation, timelines, and risk management.
